Free Individual
and Group Tours
Unity Village, Missouri, is the world headquarters of
Unity, a religious and educational institution founded
in 1889. The unique Mediterranean-style buildings (two
are on the National Register of Historic Places) are
located on 1400 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds,
with meditation chapels, fountains, and reflecting pools.
Pre-arranged guided tours are available. Call 816-251-3578. People of all faiths
are welcome.

- The showplace Rose Garden with more than 800 bushes
and 50 varieties.
- The home of Daily Word, Unity’s monthly
inspirational magazine.
- The home of Silent Unity, a nondenominational worldwide
prayer ministry.
- The historic Fillmore Chapel and offices, restored
to their beautiful
1929 appearance.

A tour video and self guided tours are available between 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Friday through Sunday. Guided tours available if booked in advance.

The guided one-hour walking tour includes
a 12-minute video presentation about the history and
work of Unity. The length of the walking tour is equal
to two city blocks, and there are two flights of stairs. The
tour is a combination of walking on sidewalks through
the outside gardens and courtyards as well as walking
inside four buildings. The tour is free. Donations are
welcome. Tours begin at the Visitors Center. Unity Village
Bookstore, with gift items, is available for browsing
before or after the tour.

Handicapped Accessibility
The main route of the tour is handicapped-accessible,
although not all areas of the grounds are. We require
advance notice of visitors in wheelchairs or those who
have trouble walking or climbing stairs. With advance
notice, we can modify the tour to avoid stairways and
to begin at a more accessible location.
