Rev. Rob RobinsonReverend Robert G. Robinson
Senior Minister

Rev. Robert G. Robinson was ordained in 1988 and served as senior minister of Unity Christ Church, Golden Valley, MN, for over eight years before joining Renaissance Unity Church as Lead Minister in June of 2004.  He has also served as minister of churches in Orlando, FL and Tacoma, WA.

Rev. Robinson has been actively involved in the Association of Unity Churches for over eighteen years and has served on the Association’s Board of Trustees.

He has a background in industrial construction and has worked in the field of alcohol and drug addiction as a counselor and chaplain.

Reverend Marianne JonesReverend Marianne Jones
Pastoral Services Minister

Marianne graduated from the Ministerial Education Program at Unity School of Christianity in 1987. Prior to entering ministry, she served in Silent Unity for 6 years. Since graduation, she has served in the Association of Unity Churches as International Children's Education Consultant, Chaplain and Youth and Children's minister at Unity Church of Overland Park. Marianne has 2 grown children and resides in Lee's Summit with her husband, Rev. Gary Jones.

Francie PotterFrancie Potter
Youth & Family Ministry Coordinator

Prior to moving to Kansas City, Francie served as Youth Education Director for Unity Church of Wichita for seven years and as Uniteen sponsor for ten years.  She has many years of experience as a volunteer in the non-profit world, owned her own business for twenty-five years and enjoys working with children.

Francie completed the Unity Spiritual Education Enrichment program in the Fall of 2005.  She is currently taking classes to earn her Licensed Unity teacher certificate.

Francie has four children:  Jason, 31; Taby, 14; Jesse, 12; and Grace, 9. Her husband, Warren, is a Ministerial and Religious Studies candidate at Unity Institute.

Dolores SchmidtDolores Schmidt
Volunteer Coordinator

Dolores has been a volunteer and member of our congregation for 40 years.  She has three grown children and six grandchildren.  She is an accountant and has had her own tax and accounting business for twenty-five years.  Besides working in the construction industry as an accountant, she has been production manager for two of the larger lithographing companies in the area.  Her passions are being in service to her church and spending time with family and friends.
