Requirements for enrollment
Anyone eighteen or older may enroll in Unity’s Continuing Education Program courses. No special background is required.  << Back to top

Simply use your debit or credit card. We accept Master Card, Visa, American Express, and Discover. Or if you’d rather not pay online, call Customer Service at

Enrollment and the Unity Online Bookstore
Enrollment for this course is processed through Unity’s Online Bookstore. So when you register, it’s just like buying a book online: Place the product in your shopping cart and proceed to checkout. Just remember to write down your username and password. You’ll need them every time you log in to the course.  << Back to top

Class cancellation
We reserve the right to cancel any class at any time.
And if we do, you’ll receive a full refund. We also reserve
the right to cancel the enrollment of any learner. In that case, the student receives a full refund. And we retain
the right to make changes in course content at our discretion.  << Back to top

Class withdrawal
You may withdraw from a class at any time. If you withdraw during the first week, 100 percent of your fee will be refunded. After the first and before the third week ends, you’ll have 50 percent refunded. Expect a check in the mail within three to four weeks. No refunds will be made if you withdraw after the third week.  << Back to top

Copyrights on materials
Use the materials of this course to learn and grow in spiritual understanding. Read, view, and interact with the online pages and print the handouts for your own use. You may not, however, let people who aren’t registered in the course read or view pages. You also can’t copy the print or online materials or incorporate them into other works. Assignment due dates
Set your own pace for learning as you study one lesson each week for ten weeks. Every week—for Lessons 2 through 10—you are required to reply with your answers to the discussion question. Your instructor reads and responds to student postings on the discussion form and will evaluate individual weekly participation. If you can’t participate, it’s your responsibility to make arrangements with your instructor via e-mail.  << Back to top

You retain copyright to any work you create within this course and may use it as you see fit. We will not use any of your work for purposes other than your learning without getting your permission first.  << Back to top

Privacy
Except for information you share with your instructor and with others enrolled in the class, your contributions are private. Your grades, submitted materials, and discussion group comments are confidential. They will not be released without your permission.

When interacting with your instructor and fellow learners, you are expected to use your real name.

Only Unity staff will have access to your name and e-mail address. And Unity will not distribute your e-mail address to anyone without your permission. At your discretion, you may share your e-mail address with other students within the discussion forum.  << Back to top

Records management
The instructor evaluates your discussion contributions weekly for Lessons 2 through 10. Shortly after the conclusion of the course, discussion forum content will be purged from storage. Your transcript will show whether you completed the class and will be available only to you and Unity faculty, administration, and staff. Grades and performance evaluation
To receive credit, you’ll need to achieve a passing grade, which will be based on your contributions to posted discussions for Lessons 2 through 10. Final grades are Satisfactory, Unsatisfactory, No Credit (due to lack of attendance), and Incomplete. It’s your responsibility to learn the material to meet your own learning and spiritual growth goals. Interacting with your instructor and classmates helps, but your success in learning is up to you.  << Back to top

CEP credit
Unity’s Continuing Education Program—or CEP—offers a combination of courses to help you in your spiritual growth. There are two tracks in the curriculum: The Personal Development Program and Leadership Development Program. The Personal Development Program track must be completed before enrollment in the Leadership Development Program. Credits are earned by successfully completing course work, and all the credits required for each track must be earned within a ten-year period. Credits apply to programs offered by Unity and are not transferable to accredited universities.  << Back to top

Terms and Conditions: This course is for use solely by the individual who registered and for whom a registration fee was paid. Learners in this course agree to conduct themselves as indicated in the Course Policies.
