FROM THE NORTH AND MCI (Kansas City International) AIRPORT (St. Joseph, Omaha, etc.)
Take I-29 to the airport. At the airport, take I-435 East (Exit 14) toward St. Louis. After about 10 miles, I-435 will curve to the south and become I-435 South. Stay on I-435 South across I-35 and the Missouri River until you get to I-70 East (Exit 63B). Exit on I-70 East toward St. Louis. (Note: The exit ramp goes off the left side of the highway). Stay on I-70 East for about 10 1/2 miles to I-470/Highway 291 South (Exit 15A) toward Lee's Summit. Exit right (south) on I-470/291 South. Stay on I-470 for about 6 1/2 miles to Colbern Road (Exit 10A). Exit at Colbern Road and turn right (west). Follow Colbern straight ahead for about 2 miles and turn right at the yellow blinking light into Unity Village.
FROM THE NORTHEAST
(Des Moines, Chicago, etc.)
Coming in on I-35, take I-435 South and cross the Missouri River. Stay on I-435 South to I-70 East toward St. Louis (Exit 63B). (Note: The exit ramp goes off the left side of the highway). Stay on I-70 East about 10 1/2 miles to I-470/Highway 291 South (Exit 15A) toward Lee's Summit. Exit right (south) on I-470/291. Stay on I-470 South about 6 1/2 miles to Colbern Road (Exit 10A). Turn right (west) on Colbern and go about 2 miles and turn right at the yellow blinking light into Unity Village.
FROM THE SOUTH
(Joplin, Tulsa, Branson/southern Missouri, etc.)
Coming in on U.S. Highway 71, go through Belton and Grandview. Exit to the right (east) at I-470/Highway 50 East toward Lee's Summit. Go about 7 1/2 miles to Highway 350 West (Exit 7B) toward Raytown. Exit on 350 West and go to the next exit to the west, which is Colbern Road. Turn right (east) on Colbern and drive ahead to the yellow blinking light and turn left into Unity Village.
FROM THE SOUTHWEST
(Wichita, Oklahoma City, Texas, etc.)
Coming in on I-35-past Olathe, take I-435 East. Go about 12 miles to a large interchange of Highways 71, I-435, and I-470. Stay in the middle lanes, straight ahead, and follow I-470/Highway 50 East toward Lee's Summit (Exit 71A). From the major interchange stay on I-470/50 East for about 7 1/2 miles to Highway 350 West (Exit 7B) toward Raytown. Exit on 350 West and go to the next exit to the west, which is Colbern Road. Turn right (east) on Colbern and go to the yellow blinking light and turn left into Unity Village.
FROM THE EAST
(St. Louis, etc.)
Coming in on I-70, come through Blue Springs. At the eastern outskirts of Independence, exit on I-470/Highway 291 South (Exit 15A) toward Lee's Summit. Stay on I-470 for about 6 1/2 miles to Colbern Road (Exit 10A). Turn right (west) on Colbern and go about about 2 miles and turn right at the yellow blinking light into Unity Village.
FROM THE WEST
(Topeka, Denver, etc.)
Coming in on I-70, stay on I-70 East through downtown Kansas City and to the eastern edge of the city. About 17 miles from downtown, exit at I-470/Highway 291 South (Exit 15A) toward Lee's Summit. Stay on I-470 South for about 6 1/2 miles to Colbern Road (Exit 10A). Turn right (west) on Colbern and go about 2 miles and turn right at the yellow blinking light into Unity Village. |

If you're not driving, ask your travel agent for air, rail, or bus schedules
to Kansas City, Missouri. Amtrak has limited east-west service to
Lee's Summit. Check with your travel agent for the current schedule.
Greyhound/Jefferson bus transportation can be arranged through the
downtown Kansas City bus terminal located on Troost. Taxi fare from Kansas City International Airport
(MCI) and other transportation terminals to Unity Village is expensive,
because of the distance.
