Overview & Syllabus:
Jesus Christ Heals

Introduction

What This Course Is About
Gain a deeper understanding of spiritual healing and the role of Christ consciousness in that healing as you read, discuss, and pray your way through Jesus Christ Heals, the classic work of Unity cofounder Charles Fillmore. You’ll explore the universal mental and spiritual laws applied by Jesus Christ in his restorative methods of healing, and you’ll deepen your understanding of and experience of prayer. With an emphasis on meditation and the individual experience, the course leads you toward a manifestation of the Truth principles of spiritual healing.

How the Course Is Presented
You have two options for this course: online or telebridge. With the telebridge course, you will be expected to participate in the weekly, 60- to 75-minute group discussions over the telephone.

Before the first class, you’ll receive a packet that includes telephone instructions and the Weekly Learning Guides with topic introductions, comments, and suggestions for what to look for in assigned weekly readings.

You should expect to spend about two hours each week on class assignments. For the final project, you will write a reflection paper.

For the online format, the instructor will prepare a Learning Guide for each week's work. The Learning Guide will include comments about the topic to be studied during the week, as well as suggestions about what to look for in the assigned readings.

Along with this posting, the instructor will initiate discussion threads by posting specific questions related to the week's topic of study. Students will post responses to the discussion questions and will be able to respond to other students' postings, as well as ask questions of interest to the class. The instructor will respond as appropriate.

Questions of special interest to individual students will be answered by e—mail.

The final paper will be forwarded to the instructor as an e-mail attachment. Comments will be e-mailed back to students.
