There are many ingredients involved in bringing an idea into expression. Let’s focus on four of them here: imagination, faith, action and rest.
The basis for a demonstration of any kind relies on imagination to produce an idea, a clear mental image. If you do not have an idea of what you want, it will be difficult to get it.
The second ingredient is faith. You must believe that it is possible to achieve your idea before it will come about. Faith is to an idea what water and soil are to a seed. Scripture tells us that “faith is the assurance of things hoped for” (Heb. 11:1).
The third ingredient is action. When you combine faith and action with an idea, you will always get results. Develop a sound, orderly plan to bring your idea into manifestation. Faithfully work that plan, and you will get results.
When you have done all you know to do, it is time to cease your labors and rest in the knowing that God is working through you to establish the good you desire to bring forth. This state of rest is an inner letting go of any struggle and strain you may be experiencing due to lack of trust in God.
Make sure these four ingredients are present when you seek to demonstrate an idea. You will find you can bring about anything you believe in.
