Patti BusseAdministrative Assistant/SpiritPath Kansas City native and former corporate administrative assistant Patti Busse brings her business expertise and Midwestern hospitality to SpiritPath. Her journey to SpiritPath unfolded during the four years she spent as caregiver for her neighbor, friend, and Unity minister, Rev. Paula McClellan. Rev. Paula served as codirector of Unity’s retreat ministry(now SpiritPath) with her husband, Foster, for 15 years in the 60s and 70s. As Patti helped Paula through her difficult years with congestive heart failure, she gained a personal insight into Unity teachings and heard wonderful stories of how Unity retreats had touched and blessed people’s lives. Many times during their morning prayers, the two friends would pray for Unity and the retreat ministry. After Paula’s passing, Patti was surprised how lost she was and what a void she felt. Not knowing which direction to take next in her life, Patti felt drawn to Unity. A wave of divine order washed over her as she read the job opening—Administrative Assistant for the SpiritPath Team! The rest is history. |
