Salary Range: $46,032.48 – $59,791.68/year

JOB OBJECTIVES: (Purpose of the position)
- Provide visionary, creative, effective leadership to design and develop a dynamic and innovative environment in our Lodging, Food Services and Retail departments.
- Ensure all aspects of planning, preparation and coordination are accomplished by support staff, in cooperation with the Vice President.
- Provide direction for marketing and sales function as well as public, guest and employee relations aspects of Lodging, Food Services and Retail, in cooperation with the Vice President and Integrated Marketing and Retreats departments.
- Support guests in having a spiritual and inspirational experience through impeccable service and nurturing, healthful cuisine.
- Direct the daily operations of Lodging, Food Services and Retail.
- Grow Lodging, Food Services, Retail and other departments as assigned through excellence in service and quality of product.

JOB PREREQUISITES: (Minimum qualifications needed to perform essential functions)
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent level training and experience in Hospitality or other related field of guest and customer service in hotel/lodging management.
- Ten years experience in the hotel management area, customer service and/or systems development industry.
- Excellent accounting and budgetary experience.
- Able to forecast and produce occupancy and food service reports on a daily and monthly basis.
- Excellent negotiation skills.
- People and service oriented.
- Organized with an eye for detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Able to multitask.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Ability to travel up to 10 percent of scheduled time.
- Understanding of Unity philosophy and the special needs of these types of guests preferred.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: (Functions essential to attaining job objectives)
- Regular attendance.
- Comply with Unity policies and rules.
- Oversee daily operations of Lodging, Food Services and Retail, which includes but is not limited to developing procedures and policies for overseeing deliveries, inventorying supplies and equipment, etc., and initiating and maintaining impeccable records.
- Responsible for supervising and training of direct reports and departments.
- Ensure high-quality and excellent service is provided.
- Develop and maintain relationships with guests and staff.
- Give employees feedback on an ongoing basis; document performance and set goals based on Unity’s Appreciative Performance Communication Process.
- Establish and implement strategic plans to reach or exceed annual revenue objectives. Ensure that cash procedures are strictly followed.
- Oversee the design, implementation and marketing of special events.
- Solicit, through the development of relationships with outside vendors, new revenue streams for SpiritPath.
- Ensure correct and timely completion of all administrative duties are kept up to date.
- Develop policies and procedures as required.
- Other functions as assigned.

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS FOR ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule.
- Ability to drive rental cars and personal vehicle during both day and evening hours.
- Must have personal vehicle, valid driver’s license and minimum liability insurance in the state in which the car is registered.
