Department: Food, Catering & Conference
Status: Full-Time, Non-Exempt
Work Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 7 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. (some Fri., Sat. and Sun. hours, as needed)
Minimum Starting Salary: $13.96 – $18.13/hr.

JOB PROFILE: (Brief summary of responsibilities and requirements)
- Support the Sales and Events Department as part of a team that plans and executes every aspect of special events as assigned by the Manager of Sales and Events.
|
|
JOB PREREQUISITES: (Minimum qualifications needed to perform essential functions)
- Satisfactorily complete the Human Resources administered tests: Typing, Word and Excel.
- Must have high school diploma and minimum of three years administrative experience, preferably in a meeting/event planning environment.
- Demonstrated customer services skills required.
- Must be proficient with MS Office Suite – Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Must be able to work successfully in a team-oriented environment.
- Must be able to handle multiple projects at the same time and work independently.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
- Extremely high degree of professionalism and high attention to quality standards is required.
Preferred:
- Associates degree Access and scheduling software experience is a plus

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS INCLUDE: (Functions essential to job)
- Working with internal departments to ensure room setup, cleaning, security, audiovisual and I.T. for events.
- Paying invoices and managing account receivables.
- Reporting monthly activity and providing weekly updates in support of the BEO meetings.
- Assisting with special projects of SpiritPath, i.e., receptions, dinners, group meetings and other projects involving invitations, nametags, lodging, meal planning and room setup.
- Assisting departments in planning training, luncheons, dinners and receptions.
- Assisting in coordinating special projects and working on planning committees for seminars, meetings, luncheons, retreats, special events etc., held at the Village.
- Acting as back up for the Sales and Events Manager as needed.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
