• College degree in graphic design, marketing, journalism or equivalent experience in graphic design environment.
  
• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, communication or related field required.
  
• Minimum four years web, print and production experience.
  
• Demonstrated proficiency using in InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator/Fireworks, Dreamweaver/ImageReady and Flash.
  
• Must have PC and Macintosh skills with HTML/CSS knowledge.
  
• Project management skills required including attention to detail, organizing and prioritizing multiple jobs and managing the production process.
  
• Must have good skills in communication, client relation and presentation.
  
• Online portfolio must show strong design skills.
  
• HTML, CSS, image optimization knowledge required.

3. Develop overall visual design of new websites geared for target audiences by working closely with web developers, client departments and third-party partners.
   
4. Collaborate on content and expanding features and functionality of the website with web developers, client departments and third-party partners.
   
5. Make ongoing design improvements and content updates to current sites, working within a CMS environment and upholding brand standards in imagery and layout.
   
6. Keep up-to-date knowledge of current web trends and integrating new ways of serving Unity’s constituents through contact and interaction on the web.
   
7. Manage, organize and prioritize multiple jobs by ensuring all assigned projects are produced on time, accurate and to client specifications.
   
8. Other duties as assigned.

• Must be able to work at a computer for most of a nine-hour workday.
  
• Must be able to move freely on-grounds for meetings and other duties.
  
• Must be able to accurately interpret both web and printed colors.
  
• Must be able to communicate clearly and quickly in a fast-fast paced work environment.
