NONPAID INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY
Seeking, at minimum, a junior undergraduate studentApproximately June 2 – August 14, 2008
Monday – Thursday
Part-Time: 16 – 20 hours per week
10 a.m. - 2 p.m. or 12:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. each day

INTERN DUTIES:
- Assist in the writing of 80- to100-word news briefs.
- Progress to writing full articles with byline during the internship period.
- Conduct research and fact checking for articles.
- Interview potential contributors to the articles.
- Review and edit letters to the editor.
- Develop articles covering current events at the church level and Unity School of Christianity, as well as writing spiritual articles.
PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to sit at a workstation for two hours at a time.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to speak clearly on the telephone.
- Job requires basic typing skills and computer skills in Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Candidates need to be Internet savvy.
